Formulation and Development Services

  • An in-house team of capable of formulating beverages based on client requirements and this includes bottled water, bulk/hot water, carbonates, juice, non-alcoholic beer, juice, nectars, still drinks, squashes, fruit powders, iced/ready-to-drink-tea/coffee drinks, sports drink, and energy drinks.

Increasing emphasis was placed on the health properties of soft drinks, by both the consumers and the industry. At food research laboratory, we assist our clients in developing / formulating different types of flavoured water, carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks and non-alcoholic beer.

  • We provide specific attention to ingredients, including preservatives, colourings, and artificial flavourings that provide a minimal but known risk of microbiological and chemical composition during processing and storage.
  • Our food scientists at FRL also expert in developing probiotic beverages based on L Plantarum, L delbrueckii, L. acidophilus species
  • Soft drinks are susceptible to microbial spoilage because of their high carbon-to-nitrogen ratio and low pH. Therefore, we apply natural preservatives instead of chemicals such as benzoic acid or sorbic acids. Those preservatives are proven to be safe.
  • We also offer packaging consultation based on the client need and requirement.
  • Nutrient based health claims to substantiate health claims for your products.
  • R&D Trial and pilot production for lab-scale sampling and product testing for further nutritional evaluation.
