Assignment: Formulation of shelf-stable health bar at the same time the product should target health-conscious consumers. Besides the client also pressurized that he cannot wait for 6 months to two years and demanded that he needs within 3 months.

Solution: It is well known that the length of its shelf life depending on different factors, including the products’ ingredients, how its processed, the type of packaging and its storage. Although it’s challenging for us to develop such a product, our team has ultimately succeeded in this process. They could be able to develop a health bar and finally satisfy the client. Our team adopted an indirect method such as accelerated storage shelf-life testing and predictive modelling without running a full-length shelf life. In fact, this particular bar was packed using the concept of sustainable packaging such as Mater-Bi.
