What Our client required?

A health-bar with an extended shelf life

Assignment: Formulation of shelf-stable health bar targeting health-conscious consumers. Besides, the client insisted that the product be developed within 3 months.

Solution: It is well known that the length of its shelf life depends on different factors, including the products’ ingredients, how its processed, the type of packaging and its storage.. Although it’s challenging for us to develop such a product, our team has ultimately succeeded in this process. They were able to develop a health bar and finally satisfy the client. Our team adopted an indirect method such as accelerated storage shelf-life testing and predictive modelling without running a full-length shelf life. In fact, this particular bar was packed using the concept of sustainable packaging such as Mater-Bi.
