This role will be based in Chennai and. The Social and Digital Content Manager at FRL is responsible for developing and executing strategic social media and digital content campaigns that promote FRL’s diverse range of products and services, including nutraceuticals, functional foods, beverages, cosmeceuticals, and pet food. This role involves creating engaging, high-quality content across various social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and support global expansion efforts. The manager will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and drive business objectives. Additionally, the role includes managing the social media team, overseeing content creation during key events, and analyzing campaign performance to refine strategies. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and strategic thinker with a strong background in social media marketing and a passion for driving brand growth in a dynamic, global environment.
Required Qualification:
Bachelors of Science in Digital Marketing or Social Media Marketing or Three to five years of experience in generating social media content and/or publicity, preferably within the food, nutraceutical, or related industries.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing successful organic and paid social media campaigns across various platforms.
- Familiarity with product promotion, global expansion strategies, and live-event content creation is strongly preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Campaigns:
- Develop, plan, and execute effective social media strategies and campaigns (both paid and organic) that engage, inform, and promote FRL’s product development, formulation services, and various business units, including nutraceuticals, functional foods, beverages, cosmeceuticals, and pet food.
- Generate creative and compelling social media content (written, photo, video) for all platforms, showcasing FRL’s global expansion and manufacturing capabilities.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Create topical and relevant content that aligns with FRL’s brand standards and resonates with our target audience across social media platforms.
- Stay current with cutting-edge social media applications and trends, leading their implementation within the company to maintain a competitive edge.
- Deliver a positive and consistent brand message on behalf of FRL when engaging with followers and potential clients.
- Work closely with FRL’s PR and marketing teams to amplify important announcements, news, and updates through social media channels.
- Partnership & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Corporate Sales department to manage the social media needs of FRL’s partners, ensuring all deliverables are met within the scope of the company’s overall social media plans.
- Cultivate strong relationships with industry contacts, including those in nutraceuticals, functional foods, cosmeceuticals, and pet food sectors, to extend the reach of FRL’s social media efforts.
- Graphic & Content Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate graphic content needs with the marketing/creative department to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content for use in social and digital campaigns.
- Event Social Media Management:
- Lead the social media team during key events and product launches, ensuring comprehensive coverage and engagement.
- Develop and execute mobile app communications and text platform management for FRL during both event and non-event times.
- Create reports tracking social media analytics, identifying best and worst-performing posts to refine strategies and provide insights to the executive team.
- Participate in global marketing and social media meetings, contributing relevant insights and helping establish best practices across FRL’s digital platforms.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage social media interns and event-time staff, providing live, on-the-job experience and guidance to ensure the delivery of quality content.
- Position requires occasional travel to support global marketing initiatives and events, collaborating with other FRL facilities to ensure consistent brand messaging and content delivery.
This role is ideal for a creative and driven social media professional who is passionate about promoting FRL’s diverse range of products and services on a global scale. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team to deliver impactful social and digital content.
Work Schedule:
Full Time, Monday to Saturday, 10:00a.m. to 7:00pm. Hours may vary on occasion, depending on workload.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in shooting and editing creative photos and videos; graphic design experience is preferred.
Aptitude in using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media monitoring tools.

Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholder groups.
Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in team environments.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as required to support FRL’s global initiatives and events.
